Mission
The Foundation’s purpose is to support and foster activities to enhance and further develop cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, cure and follow-up care with the ultimate goal of saving lives and ensuring that the best treatment is available to every cancer patient.
Within the scope of it’s mission, the Foundation may provide financial contributions and practical support, in particular, but not only to promote:
Best practices in cancer patient care
Research and registries
Education, as well as practical training
Fellowships
Public education and information campaigns
Sharing of information, experience and best practices
Co-operation of specialists of different disciplines, universities and patient organisations
International Cancer Foundation Board
Composition
The International Cancer Foundation Board is the executive body responsible for the management and administration of the Foundation.
The Board manages the ongoing business and represents the Foundation externally.
